Day Camp: Our day camp is perfect for beginner to intermediate field hockey players grades 2 - 8. Our goal is to provide a positive field hockey experience where each individual grows technically and tactically. Each day will start with technical development and after lunch, will conclude with small game play. The day camp will promote skill growth, inspire teamwork, and help develop a love for the game!
Overnight Camp: The objective of our overnight camp is to instruct all campers regardless of ability level in the techniques and tactics required to grow their game. Fundamental skills are emphasized combined with offensive and defensive specific tactics. Small game play will occur every day as well as a camp 7v7 tournament and some 11v11 play. Each team will participate in team bonding activities that are designed to specifically assist in building team chemistry, communication, and leadership. Our goal is to provide a positive field hockey experience for each camper and each team. Campers are invited to attend as individuals or as part of a team grades 8-12.
Elite Overnight Camp: Our inaugural Field Hockey Elite Camp will challenge campers technically, tactically and physically. This comprehensive camp is for intermediate to advanced players who are looking for an elite experience. We will cover hockey tactics including pressing, outletting, defensive structures, as well as advanced technical skills. We will be teaching how to review film for tactical and technical growth. Additionally, athletes will get the chance to experience a college style workout in our athletic strength and conditioning center with our head strength and conditioning coach. This summer camp will prove to be a regarding developmental experience for all participants.

What to Bring
Personal Equipment: Shorts, shirts, seatshirt, seatpants, socks, sneakers, swimsuit, rain gear, sunscreen, alarm clock, and fan are a few items we suggest that you bring. Water and ice will be available on the field.
Required Sports Equipment: Field hockey stick, mouth guard, and shin guards are mandtory for participation in all field hockey activities. Turf shoes may be cleats, multi-cleat, or sneakers. Goalkeepers must provide their own equipment, i.e. helmet, leg guards, kickers, pelvic protector, chest protector, gloves, throat protector, and stick.
Masking requirements: Shippensburg University requires all individuals to wear masks while on campus. Masks must be worn during any breaks or other periods of non-activity/non-participation. Masks must also be worn during all indoor physical activities.
For all our residential camps, campers will be housed in suite-style residence halls. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are allowing only one person per bedroom. Amenities include air-conditioning and a bathroom for every two campers. You will need to bring sheets, pillow, pillow case, towels, blankets, and washcloths with you. Washers and dryers are available on each floor in the residence hall and are free to use.

Register Early:Space is limited to facilitate individual attention.
Registrations will be accepted up to one week prior to the start of camp. An administrative fee of $75 will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds will be given after on-campus check-in. Conference Services reserves the right to cancel any camp that has insufficient enrollment up to two weeks before the opening of camp. A full refund will be given if the camp is canceled.
