Camp Description

This is an intense, high-impact camp designed to improve individual skills regardless of the player’s current skill level. The objectives will be reached by intense and concentrated practice of fundamental skills and techniques of softball.

All participants will generally practice and play in their own age groups. However, dependent upon skill level, we reserve the right to move a participant up or down the age groups. All campers will receive instruction in hitting, infield, and outfield. If you wish instruction in pitching or catching, you must select one of the two as your primary position. The participant will have the use of all the latest training aids including soft toss and pitching machines, batting cages, and speed guns.

The SU Fast Pitch Softball Camp will be conducted on the beautiful Shippensburg University campus, which includes three softball diamonds and a large instructional area. Two fields are equipped with lights for night games and practices. Indoor facilities will be available in case of inclement weather.
